Ride with the Angels Hunter Noak Hobbs, NM Story & photos by: Rusty “Shakedown” Harrison Hobbs, New Mexico Constance M. Drew (publisher) This is a story that was sent to me by Shakedown in February a few weeks before his untimely death. He and I had been chatting on Facebook after he came home from Hunter’s funeral and last ride. He was heartbroken and it is with a heavy heart that I now honor not only this brave young man, Hunter, but also Shakedown. May you both be riding on the wings of Angels and surrounded by love. It is with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes as I write this. This weekend the motorcycle community lost a very special young man. Hunter Noak lost his long and tiring battle with Lou Gehrig's disease, after 14 short years. Hunter was a very special boy that loved his family and the motorcycle community. He could be seen at several local bike rallies with his mother smiling from ear to ear. I had the privilege of knowing Hunter for the better part of 5 years. I still remember the day I met him. Seeing the smile on his face as I pulled up on my bike and his out stretched hand as I walked up. You could tell it hurt him to extend his hand but he did every time I saw him cause that’s what a man does; he greets his friends with a smile and a handshake. Hunter was an inspiration to all that met him. He taught us to always smile and never give up no matter how hard it got and how much it hurt. Hunter leaves behind his mother and father 3 brothers and countless adopted brothers and sister in the motorcycle community. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him and will always inspire me to never give up. It fills me with great joy knowing that he will be watching over me and my brothers every time we step on our bikes. We all love you and will miss you every day. Ride with the angels little brother until the day we meet again. Rusty "shakedown" Harrison hunter hunter2 hunterfam hunterfam2
